About Diana
Diana is an experienced litigator and strategic advisor. As an associate in Cooley’s Supreme Court and appellate practice, she represents clients in high-stakes litigation, with a focus on appellate matters.
Before joining Cooley, Diana started her legal career in the Special Litigation Division at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, where she represented clients in post-conviction proceedings in DC Superior Court.
Diana clerked for Justice Elena Kagan of the US Supreme Court, Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan of the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, and Judge J. Paul Oetken of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. In law school, Diana served on the executive board of the Stanford Law Review, won best overall team in the Kirkwood Moot Court Competition, and was awarded the Urban A. Sontheimer Honor each year for earning the highest grade point average her first and second years and the second-highest average at graduation. She also participated in the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic, where she helped author briefs in the US Supreme Court, including a successful petition for certiorari.
Before law school, Diana attended Yale University, where she was awarded the American Parliamentary Debate Association Team of the Year, given to the top two-person team in the nation. After graduating, she worked at a management consulting firm and a global humanitarian aid organization.
