Daniel Peale

Daniel S. Peale focuses on the corporate representation of technology and other growth companies at all stages of development. He represents public and private companies in complex strategic transactions; private equity investors, issuers and underwriters in public and private financings; and public and private companies with respect to ongoing corporate and securities law matters.

Prior to joining Cooley, Daniel served as senior vice president and general counsel with Gartner, overseeing its $3 billion acquisition of CEB Inc. in 2017. He joined Gartner in 2015 after his tenure at Wilson Sonsini where he focused on the corporate representation of technology and other high-growth companies at all stages of development.
