About Daniel

Daniel I. Goldberg represents public and private companies and financial institutions in connection with securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. He has particular experience handling initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, shelf-takedowns, registered directs, PIPEs and Regulation S offerings. Daniel is a market leader in advising issuers and underwriters in "at-the-market" (ATM) offerings, which are an efficient way to raise working capital, fund specific projects, fund research and development or pay off debt.

Daniel has represented numerous clients in ATM offerings across myriad industries, including life sciences, REITs, technology, energy, mining, cleantech, manufacturing and banking. Daniel also focuses on representing Israel-based companies in their US capital markets and public company activities.

Daniel is "Highly Recommended" by Legal 500 US 2013 and 2014 for Capital Markets: Equity Offerings - both for advice to Issuers and Managers.

Before joining Cooley, he was a partner at Reed Smith, in their NY office. Daniel has also practiced law at DLA Piper and Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman.

Daniel is a Certified Public Accountant in Maryland.
