
About Dale
Dale’s practice focuses on business restructuring and reorganization, with particular interests in complex litigation and cross-border insolvency issues.
Before joining Cooley, Dale clerked for Judge Kevin R. Huennekens in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (2023 – 2024) and for Judge William J. Lafferty III in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California (2022 – 2023). Previously, he was an associate in the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation’s Office of the Participant and Plan Sponsor Advocate.
Dale received his JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he was a contributing editor for the North Carolina Law Review and the vice president for the Broun National Trial Team. Before law school, he taught ninth and tenth grade world history with Teach For America in Eastern North Carolina.
