About Charles
Charles advises some of the world’s most well-known venture capital, private equity and other investment firms on all aspects of their business, from start up to wind down, including fundraising, regulatory, compliance, complex business transactions, firm and fund ownership, and other strategic matters. He focuses his time partnering with investment firms in their fundraise process and advises on market trends and fundraising strategies, including ensuring that the fundraise process is run efficiently with the latest technology. Charles has represented investment firms on the formation and fundraising of more than $100 billion, including the largest venture capital fund at the time in 2017.
Before joining Cooley, Charles was a partner in the investment funds group at another US-based international law firm.
