About Carolina

Carolina focuses on digital regulation across the content, artificial intelligence (AI) and product landscape, as well as on emerging technologies in financial services. She has substantial experience in financial services regulation, with a focus on compliance, risk management frameworks and governance.

Carolina advises some of the world’s leading companies on complex regulatory frameworks governing online content, AI, ecommerce and product safety. She has particular experience supporting clients in navigating evolving UK and European Union (EU) regulatory regimes, including the UK Online Safety Act and the EU Digital Services Act.

Drawing on prior experience in financial services, Carolina also has a growing practice advising on the intersection of technology and financial regulation, including crypto-assets and the deployment of AI in financial services.
