Dr. Audrey Gallagher

Audrey works closely with life sciences and pharmaceutical companies to draft, prosecute and manage patent applications as part of comprehensive worldwide patent strategies.

She has experience conducting invalidity and noninfringement, freedom to operate and patentability analyses, and supporting due diligence efforts on behalf of both companies and investors, including in connection with fundraising.

Prior to joining Cooley, Audrey obtained her PhD in chemistry from Northwestern University, where she developed a deep knowledge of organic and inorganic synthesis, spectroscopy and crystallography. She draws on this technical background to advise clients across the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors.
