About Armand

Armand represents clients in patent and complex commercial litigation matters. His technical experience spans multiple industries, and he has experience working in multiple patent-specific legal venues. He has worked with a diverse set of clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical and technology spaces.

During law school, Armand interned at the US International Trade Commission’s Office of Unfair Import Investigations and externed for Judge Jimmie V. Reyna of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He served on the executive board of the American University International Law Review as the associate digital articles editor. He also served as the executive editor and interim editor in chief of the American University Intellectual Property Brief.

Before law school, Armand earned a dual degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering and economics from Tulane University and worked as a chemical process engineer at a Houston polypropylene plant for an international vertically integrated oil and gas group. In addition to his engineering duties, he served on the intellectual property asset team, analyzing competitors’ issued patents and comparing their specs to current products in anticipation of freedom-to-operate issues.
