Anushi Amin

Anushi is a products lawyer, regulatory adviser and litigator with particular experience in the consumer products, cosmetics and technology sectors. Anushi advises clients on product compliance and regulatory matters – ranging from product launches to any issues that arise during the life of the product.

Anushi also has experience advising on a range of product liability disputes, with an emphasis on multijurisdictional group litigation claims. Notably, she has acted in relation to a high-profile group action litigation before the High Court of England and Wales.

Anushi joined Cooley at the end of 2022, after seven years at Freshfields. She has spent time on secondment in Washington, DC, and at a major US-based technology company.

Anushi’s recent representative matters include:

• Advising a number of leading companies on the launch of innovative consumer electronic products
• Advising on regulatory requirements for wide-ranging products, including in the cosmetics, technology and consumer product sectors
• Assisting clients with international recalls, including those involving consumer products
• Defending an international vehicle manufacturer in relation to multi-jurisdictional product liability claims, including in group litigation in the High Court of England and Wales
• Defending a social networking app against a group action alleging misuse of sensitive data
