About Anushi
Anushi advises leading technology companies on complex digital regulation issues, with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI), online safety, platform regulation, content liability and risk management.
She regularly advises clients on strategic engagement and informal advocacy with various regulators, including the European Commission, member state Digital Services Coordinators and Ofcom. Her practice is also focused on assisting clients with implementation of governance and compliance frameworks to deal with the risks and requirements of digital regulation, including the EU Digital Services Act (EU DSA) and the UK Online Safety Act (UK OSA).
Anushi is also an experienced litigator with particular experience in group/class action litigation focused on tech, product liability and data privacy. Notably, she has acted for her clients in high-profile group action proceedings before the High Court of England and Wales.
Anushi has spent time on secondment at two market-leading US technology companies.
Recent representative matters include:
- Advising clients on the implementation of governance and compliance frameworks as required by the EU DSA and UK OSA.
- Advising on regulatory engagement and defence strategy.
- Defending a popular social networking app against group action proceedings alleging misuse of sensitive personal data.
- Providing strategic advice to leading tech companies on the launch of novel products/services.
- Defending international vehicle manufacturers in relation to multi-jurisdictional, product liability group litigation proceedings.
