About Anitha

Anitha represents public and late-stage private companies on a variety of matters, with a focus on securities offerings and general corporate representation. She provides strategic advice to healthcare and life sciences companies on issues ranging from general corporate strategy and compliance to capital raising in the public markets and on securities matters.

Anitha counsels late-stage private companies on public company readiness and is a trusted advisor to several public life sciences companies. Her current and former public life sciences clients include ACELYRIN, Adverum Biotechnologies, AN2 Therapeutics, Angion Biomedica (now Elicio Therapeutics), Annexon, Arcus Biosciences, Asana, Carmot Therapeutics (now part of Roche), Cytokinetics, Kodiak Sciences, Lyell Immunopharma, Origin Materials, Seagen (now part of Pfizer), Sunrun, TRACON Pharmaceuticals, Turnstone Biologics (now part of XOMA Royalty), Vidya Therapeutics and Tvardi Therapeutics.

Anitha is active in her local community and a member of the board of directors of the Center for Youth Development through Law, an East Bay nonprofit that helps youth from first-generation and marginalized backgrounds access opportunities in law, government and social justice.

Anitha’s recent representations include:

  • Representing ACELYRIN on an initial public offering (IPO) of $621 million of common stock
  • Representing Lyell Immunopharma on an IPO of $425 million of common stock
  • Representing Annexon on two separate public offerings of $125 million of common stock each
  • Representing Turnstone Biologics on an IPO of $80 million of common stock
  • Representing AN2 on an IPO of $69 million of common stock
  • Representing Angion Biomedica on its reverse merger into Elicio Therapeutics
  • Representing Tvardi Therapeutics on its reverse merger into Cara Therapeutics
