About Anika

Anika’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, data privacy and emerging issues in artificial intelligence. She represents Fortune 100 tech companies, venture capital funds, early-stage startups and executives in high-stakes disputes in both federal and state court.

Prior to joining Cooley, Anika served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Jane B. Stranch of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and to Judge James Donato of the US District Court for the Northern District of California.

Anika maintains a robust pro bono practice. She has authored amicus briefs on criminal defendants’ fair trial rights, advocated for reproductive rights in the wake of Dobbs and led litigation focused on defending the provision of lawful gender-affirming medical care to transgender teens in Texas.
