About Andrew
Andrew is a business lawyer and strategic advisor to high-growth technology companies and the investors who back them. He represents private companies across the full life cycle, from formation through exit, as they scale, and also regularly counsels venture capital funds and other institutional investors in connection with new investments, follow-on financings and portfolio company matters.
Focusing on corporate governance and capital strategy, Andrew leads clients through a range of transactions, including angel, seed, venture capital and growth equity financings, as well as recapitalizations, tender offers, and mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Cooley, Andrew practiced in the corporate group of a global law firm headquartered in California. While at The George Washington University Law School, he was a member of The George Washington Law Review. During law school, Andrew also interned at the US Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC.
