Andres Medina-Jordan

Andres works with high-growth companies and investors. Andres advises clients across many industries at every stage of their lifecycle – from formation planning and financings to mergers and acquisitions and public capital markets transactions, along with everything in between. He regularly advises clients in cross-border transactions in the venture capital ecosystem, with a focus on emerging companies and venture capital funds operating in Latin America. 

Before joining Cooley, Andres served as derivatives counsel for a hedge fund and worked at another global law firm. Before becoming an attorney, Andres worked with the executive team of a technology company, helping to drive growth in the healthcare insurance and pharmacy benefits management (PBM) space. Andres speaks Spanish as a first language, and he also is passionate about enhancing inclusion and served on the firm’s diversity committee from 2019 to 2022.
