About Amy
Amy Hallman Rice has a general corporate transactional practice, and represents both privately-held and public companies in a wide range of transactions. Amy also has more than 16 years of experience in bankruptcy and insolvency law.
Prior to rejoining Cooley, she practiced with Dorsey & Whitney's commercial and banking/bankruptcy practice group in Minneapolis, Minnesota for more than nine years, and taught legal writing at the University of Minnesota Law School from 1992-1993.
While at the University of Virginia School of Law, she was the winner of the multi-round William Minor Lile Moot Court Competition.
