About Alyssa
Alyssa represents clients in complex commercial disputes and high-stakes government and internal investigations. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Alyssa previously served as an Honors Attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the US Department of Justice (DOJ), where she worked on cases involving police misconduct, prison conditions and reproductive healthcare access. She was a recipient of the 2024 Assistant Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award. Before her time at DOJ, she clerked for Judge Gershwin A. Drain of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
During law school, Alyssa participated in the International Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Clinic and completed internships at the San Diego Juvenile Public Defender and Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai, a civil rights law firm. She also worked with the Southern Center for Human Rights, where she successfully advocated for the release of her client before the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles.
