About Alicia
Alicia Johnson-Cole is an associate in the Business Litigation Department in Cooley’s London Office. Alicia advises clients on a wide range of commercial disputes, whether in Court proceedings or Arbitration. She also has experience helping clients on internal and regulatory investigations.
Alicia’s experience includes:
- Acting for IQVIA in its successful defence of a High Court claim brought by Cardiorentis AG for in excess of $330m in damages for alleged breaches of services provided in respect of a global clinical trial.
- Representing a government in ICC arbitration against a national healthcare provider.
- Conducting internal investigations for clients and helping to resolve the issues and disputes that arise as a result.
- Work on a range of contractual, construction and asset recovery disputes.
Alicia’s training rotation covered several practice areas including Litigation, Technology Transactions, Product Regulation & Compliance, Employment and Labour, Anti-trust and Competition, and Corporate transactions (including M&A and venture capital investments) and governance.
Prior to joining Cooley, Alicia was a paralegal at a specialist private prosecution firm with a focus on complex financial fraud.
