Alex Grasso
About Alex
Alex represents and advises clients in complex commercial litigations, internal and government investigations, and arbitrations. She also maintains an active pro bono practice that includes criminal justice, immigration and LGBTQ+ rights.
During law school, Alex worked as a student attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic, representing clients in misdemeanor proceedings in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and in compassionate release appeals. In her role as a student attorney, Alex successfully advocated for her client’s release after 20 years of incarceration. Alex also completed externships at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia in its Civil Division and at Legal Aid DC in both the Reentry Justice Project and the Family Law and Domestic Violence Division.
