About Alanna

Alanna has extensive experience representing landlords, tenants, owners and developers in complex real estate transactions, including commercial leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and construction projects. She provides added value to her clients by being able to advise on implications that arise between leasing and construction documents.

Alanna’s clients include leaders from various industries, such as real estate development, communications, biotechnology and data centers, ranging from startups and family-owned business to household names. Notably, she recently represented the developer in the largest data center lease transaction in the US in 2023, along with the construction agreement, architect agreement and guaranties.

Before joining Cooley in 2014, Alanna served as an assistant attorney general for the Department of Health Care Finance within the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia.
