Amicus Brief in Halliburton Case

The Supreme Court has issued a decision in the Halliburton v. Erica P. John Fund case, holding that defendants can rebut the fraud-on-the-market presumption of reliance at class certification by showing a lack of stock price impact. This was the outcome urged by the amicus brief filed by Cooley on behalf of the Washington Legal Foundation, a pro bono client. The team included Lyle Roberts, George Anhang, Pete Adams and Bethany Lobo.
