GE Energy to Buy BHA Group
GE Energy, a division of General Electric, has agreed to buy BHA Group Holdings for $260 million. Kronish Lieb's Ralph J. Sutcliffe served as counsel to BHA.
According to GE, the purchase will expand the company's environmental services business. GE Energy will pay $38 per share for the BHA Group, which is a provider of air-quality-control products and services. Upon the deal's closing, anticipated to occur in the late summer, BHA will be integrated into GE Energy. BHA supplies parts, services and upgrades to cut emissions for a range of power-producing and industrial applications.
