Cooley Shortlisted for Five Hong Kong Law Awards
Cooley was shortlisted by Asian Legal Business (ALB) in its annual Hong Kong Law Awards series, which honors outstanding performance by private practitioners and in-house legal teams in Hong Kong. ALB recognized the firm’s work seven times across five award categories, including two firmwide awards, one deal award and two individual awards.
Cooley was shortlisted as Deal Firm of the Year and Rising Law Firm of the Year. Additionally, the firm was shortlisted as Equity Market Deal of the Year based on its representation of Bitdeer Technologies in its $330 million convertible senior notes offering.
Two Cooley lawyers also were shortlisted: partner Will Cai as Dealmaker of the Year and counsel Joyce Wang as Young Lawyer of the Year.
The awards will be presented during the annual ALB Hong Kong Law Awards event in Hong Kong in September.
