Cooley Wins The Lawyer’s European Antitrust Award
Brussels – November 27, 2023 – Cooley has been chosen as European Competition or Antitrust Team of the Year at The Lawyer’s European Awards, which are now in their 14th year.
In this category, firms are judged based on a single standout matter, and Cooley’s selection as the winner is based on its historic victory on behalf of Condor, a German leisure airline, in the European Union’s General Court. A Cooley team represented Condor in the successful challenge of the European Commission’s approval of Lufthansa’s 6 billion euros 2020 state bailout.
