Alto Neuroscience Closes Oversubscribed Series C

Chicago – November 21, 2023 – Cooley advised Alto Neuroscience, a company pioneering precision psychiatry by developing targeted medicines designed to help patients get better faster, on its oversubscribed $45 million Series C financing round. Lawyers Laurie Bauer, Edmond Lay and Megan Bowles led the Cooley team advising Alto.

The funding was led by InVivium Capital, with participation from new investors Franklin Templeton, Point72, Eli Lilly and Company, and Alexandria Venture Investments, as well as existing investors Alpha Wave Ventures, Lightswitch Capital, Windham Venture Partners, What If Ventures and partners of Alkeon Capital. The funds will be used to support ongoing and planned clinical development of Alto’s late-stage central nervous system product candidates.
