Cooley Named Among Key Players in Indian Legal Market
Cooley has been recognized on a list of Key Players by the India Business Law Journal (IBLJ) in its 17th annual report, which analyzes more than 600 law firms that have recorded deals and disputes with an Indian connection in the past year.
The firm was highlighted by IBLJ for advising on PhonePe’s partial spinoff from Flipkart, Open English’s acquisition of enguru, and Zepto’s $200 million Series D financing.
Cooley’s firm listing follows the recent inclusion of Ferish Patel, the partner in charge of Cooley’s Singapore office, on IBLJ’s annual international A-List.
IBLJ bases its rankings on meticulous research and extensive consultation with corporate counsel and Indian law firms.
