Congruent Announces $300 Million Continuity Fund

San Francisco – April 20, 2023 – Cooley advised Congruent Ventures, a venture capital firm focusing on early-stage climate-oriented startups, in its $300 million Continuity Fund. Partner John Dado led the Cooley team.

Proceeds from the Continuity Fund will be used to help scale existing portfolio companies from early stage to full commercialization. Congruent invested some of the funds in Meati Foods, AMP Robotics, Fervo Energy and Span.IO. The Continuity Fund follows the successful closings of Congruent’s Fund I in 2017 at $92 million and Fund II in 2021 at $175 million.

Congruent is a venture capital firm that seeks to invest in the mobility and urbanization, energy transition, food and agriculture, and sustainable production and consumption sectors. It looks for technology companies that will positively impact energy and resource consumption.
