Daily Journal Names Cooley Partner Among Top 100 Lawyers
The Daily Journal has recognized Cooley partner Steve Strauss on its annual Top 100 lawyers list, which celebrates leading lawyers in California who are conducting cutting-edge legal work and made a significant impact in the industry.
In its coverage, the publication noted Strauss’ successful completion of a three-year litigation representing Chicago Title in litigation arising from the largest Ponzi scheme in San Diego history – a matter which included 11 suits in state court and three in federal court. Additionally, the Daily Journal noted his successful resolution of a securities class action which Broadcom filed after the longtime Cooley client, Qualcomm, rejected Broadcom’s unsolicited offer to acquire the company and a $50 million arbitration award for Javo Beverage Co., which was featured in the Daily Journal’s 2022 Top Verdicts special report.
The publication also noted Strauss’ unblemished trial record, which spans more than forty years.
