M13 Announces Third Flagship Fund at $400 Million

Los Angeles – March 30, 2022 – Cooley is advising M13, an early-stage consumer technology venture capital firm, on its recently announced third flagship fund. Lawyers John Dado, Luke Bagley, Paul Roberts, Mandy Kondo and Rand Singleton are leading the Cooley team advising M13.

M13’s Fund III will be deployed across early-stage technology startups building the future of work, commerce, health and money, with an increased focus on Web3 as a horizontal technology that will permeate across these verticals.

“Our third fund represents an evolution for our investment approach as we focus on the infrastructure layer that powers brands,” Carter Reum, co-founder of M13, said in a press release.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, M13 was established in 2016 with the goal of helping founders execute better. The firm’s 10 full-time partners each bring decades of founder and/or operator experience essential to founders as they build early-stage startups. M13 has seeded seven unicorn companies.
