SoftBank Vision Fund Backs Compass’ $370 Million Series G

Palo Alto – August 8, 2019 – Cooley represented SoftBank Vision Fund on its participation in Compass’ $370 million Series G financing, bringing the real estate technology company’s total capital raised to more than $1.5 billion. Partners Matthew Bartus, who co-chairs Cooley’s global emerging companies and venture capital practice, and Bradley Libuit led the team advising Softbank Vision Fund.

Compass’ powerful end-to-end platform supports the entire buying and selling workflow. The round increases Compass’ valuation to $6.4 billion. Cooley previously advised SoftBank Vision Fund on a $450 million investment in Compass, as well as its leadership of Compass’ $400 million Series F financing.
