Palo Alto – May 17, 2017 – Cooley client Varian Medical Systems Inc, a world leader in radiotherapy medical devices, executed a settlement agreement with Elekta in April 2017.

As noted in Varian’s press release, this agreement resolves a patent dispute involving multiple lawsuits in courts in the US and Europe spanning the past two years, including the suit brought by Elekta AB and William Beaumont Hospital.
