Jamie Leigh Named M&A/Antitrust Trailblazer

September 26, 2016

San Francisco – September 26, 2016 – The National Law Journal has named Cooley partner Jamie Leigh to its elite M&A/Antitrust Trailblazers list for 2016.

“Jamie is a world-class M&A lawyer and one of the Bay Area’s go-to lawyers among tech and life sciences companies,” said Barbara Borden, head of Cooley’s M&A practice. “She is as adept working with public companies and their boardrooms as she is with high-growth emerging companies and investors. Jamie always ensures that her clients achieve their strategic goals.”

Leigh’s practice focuses on M&A, takeover and activist defense, joint ventures and strategic equity investments and collaborations. She regularly advises boards of directors and special committees regarding corporate governance, proxy contests, shareholder activism and other liability and fiduciary duty matters. She recently advised Medivation on its agreement to sell to Pfizer for $14 billion and Uber on its acquisition of self-driving truck startup Otto.
