Banyan Capital Closes $362 Million Fund

San Francisco – February 23, 2015 – Cooley advised Banyan Capital on its second USD fund, Banyan Partners Fund II, L.P., which closed with $362 million of investor commitments. The fund will focus on investing in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors and the consumer-related sectors in China. Banyan Capital is a China-based emerging capital firm with two USD funds and one RMB fund under management.

The Cooley team advising Banyan Capital included partner Jordan Silber and associate Huaying Daisy Qi.
