San Francisco, Calif. – February 6, 2014 – Cooley LLP announced today that corporate partner David Peinsipp has been named to the Daily Journal's "Top 20 Under 40" list.

Peinsipp, who is based in the firm's San Francisco office, represents both emerging and public companies in a variety of matters, including formation and financing activities, SEC reporting and compliance, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. He also represents investment banks, venture capitalists and financial institutions in a variety of equity, debt and equity-linked transactions, including public offerings, private placements, PIPES and mergers and acquisitions.

"David's breadth of experience representing clients on a wide range of matters has led him to be a trusted advisor to companies, venture capitalists and investment banks," said Fred Muto, chair of Cooley's business department. "At a very early stage in what should be a long and successful legal career, he is incredibly good at what he does and it is these skills that make his selection to his list so well deserved."

Peinsipp advises some of the world's most well-known technology companies, including Yelp, Zynga, Spotify, Jawbone (Aliph) and Blue Nile. He also advises innovative life sciences companies that utilize complex technology and innovation, such as Intarcia Therapeutics, Rigel Pharmaceuticals and Principia Biopharma.
