Cooley Represents Mandiant in its $1 Billion Acquisition by FireEye

Reston, Va. – January 6, 2014 – Cooley LLP announced today that it represented Mandiant Corporation in its acquisition by FireEye, Inc. valued at more than $1 billion.

Mandiant, based in Alexandria, Virginia, is a leader in security incident response management solutions. It provides products, professional services and education to Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, government agencies, domestic and foreign police departments and the world's leading law firms.
 
Cooley has been general outside corporate counsel to Mandiant for many years, advising the company on strategic matters, financings and real estate matters.
