Cooley Advises Underwriters on T2 Biosystems IPO

Reston –August 22, 2014 – Cooley LLP announced today that it advised the underwriters on T2 Biosystems, Inc.'s initial public offering. T2 Biosystems is an in vitro diagnostics company that has developed an innovative and proprietary technology platform that offers a rapid, sensitive and simple alternative to existing diagnostic methodologies. The company now trades on The NASDAQ Global Stock Market under the symbol "TTOO."

Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Leerink Partners LLC and Janney Montgomery Scott LLC acted as co-managers for the offering.

The Cooley corporate securities team advising the underwriters was comprised of partners Brent Siler, Div Gupta and Fran Wheeler, special counsel Brian Leaf and associates Hosea Chang and Mark Ballantyne.
