San Diego, Calif. – March 20, 2013 – Cooley LLP announced today that partner Mike Attanasio has been named to the Daily Journal's elite list of "Emerging Law Firm Leaders." Attanasio was one of only ten "Emerging Leaders" profiled from leading California law firms.
Attanasio, who leads Cooley's San Diego office as partner-in-charge, also serves as vice chair of the firmwide Litigation department and sits on the Management Committee.
In addition to his leadership roles, Attanasio has a busy and diverse litigation practice, including successfully defending Roger Clemens, alongside Rusty Hardin, in the obstruction of Congress and perjury prosecution that was brought against Clemens by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.
In 2012, Attanasio was recognized as a "MVP" in White Collar Litigation by Law360.
