The conference was open to IBA members and nonmembers, with 5,000+ attendees from more than 130 jurisdictions and all parts of the legal profession. The unique mix of perspective provided a rich environment for discussion, debate and learning among industry professionals.

Cooley partner Sonia Nath participated in this panel analyzing the rapidly evolving application of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine and healthcare.
The session focused on the increase in regulatory and contractual challenges relating to privacy, intellectual property and data ownership, data breaches, and liability, in addition to major issues that are currently being discussed by purchasers, vendors, distributors and regulators of AI solutions in the sensitive healthcare sector. Speakers included the different players and jurisdictions, enabling the understanding of current AI commercialization and implementation models and solutions.
