Event summary

Athena is a premier women's advocacy organization that fast tracks women in STEM through leadership development. 

The Athena On Boards Program Series is launching its fifth cohort. As the voice of women in STEM, Athena prepares a deep bench of executive women ready to help companies modernize their boardroom. This workshop series is designed for executive women with substantial experience at the VP level in finance, operations or at C-suite level.

The three day virtual event is designed to continually fuel the talent pipeline of diverse board-ready STEM candidates by helping to:

  1. Customize their board placement strategy and board bio
  2. Articulate their boardroom intentions and superpower 
  3. Activate and augment their STEM network with the critical accountability provided by a dedicated mentor that ensures strategy execution

Participants are assigned to a selected cohort of 4-6 leaders led by a mentor that facilitates and convenes on alternate months of the workshops. Cooley partners Karen Deschaine and Megan Arthur Schilling will speak at the December 3 session.

Virtual Series Dates
