Noah Pittard practices in the Securities group within the Cooley Business department. He joined the Firm in 2001 and practices out of the Colorado and Washington, DC offices.
His practice focuses on the representation of issuers and investors in the formation and financing of emerging technology companies, as well as counseling emerging companies with respect to mergers and acquisitions, strategic relationships, recapitalizations and general corporate matters.
Mr. Pittard received a J.D. in 2001 from UC, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law where he was a member of the California Law Review. Mr. Pittard completed his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia, where he received his A.B. in Philosophy in 1997.
Before attending law school, Mr. Pittard was an active entrepreneur, starting and managing several small businesses, including a multiple-location Christmas tree company in Atlanta, Georgia and a coffee and dessert restaurant in Athens, Georgia.
Mr. Pittard is a member of the State Bar of California, the Colorado Bar Association, the State Bar of Virginia and the District of Columbia Bar.
