Cyber/Data/Privacy
Cooley TRANSFER
Cooley TRANSFER is a tool developed by our cyber/data/privacy lawyers that automates the assessment companies must complete when transferring personal data from Europe to companies based in third countries. The tool automatically generates a data transfer impact assessment (DTIA) report after an assessment is finished. Cooley TRANSFER is pivotal, as it saves our clients time and resources on the DTIA process – time that can instead be spent on making the necessary adjustments to the transfer itself. The Cooley TRANSFER program incorporates General Data Protection Regulation requirements, existing official guidance from the European Data Protection Board and the Court of Justice of the European Union’s case law applicable to international data transfers.
