Sarah Ackohën
About Sarah
Sarah focuses her practice on business litigation and intellectual property litigation. She has a strong background in patent litigation, specifically biotechnology and life sciences patents. Sarah has experience in all phases of litigation from filing of complaints to post-trial briefing. Her work also encompasses inter partes review (IPR) and Federal Circuit (appellate) briefing.
As a competitive person, Sarah has always thought of every case as a challenging puzzle with a rewarding prize at the end. While the trial process can be daunting for most paralegals, Sarah views it as that last piece of the puzzle. Seeing a smiling client at the end of a trial is always the best prize!
Before joining Cooley, Sarah was a senior paralegal at another Silicon Valley law firm.
