About Rachel

Rachel leads business development efforts for Cooley’s Southern California offices, spanning Downtown Los Angeles, Santa Monica and San Diego. In this role, she oversees strategic partnerships, provides matchmaking support for clients seeking venture capital, and scouts new client opportunities on behalf of the firm. Rachel develops informative and engaging ways to showcase Cooley’s unique offerings, blending her passion for driving business success with a love for building genuine human connections in support of the innovation ecosystem.

Before joining Cooley in 2021, Rachel co-founded and led Startup Coil – one of LA’s largest and longest-running startup tech event companies. Having worked in the economic development and civic sectors, she has spent more than a decade building bridges between the innovation, social impact and political spaces.
