About Maggie

Maggie focuses her practice on patent preparation and patent prosecution in a range of technical fields, including medical devices, wearable devices, sensor and monitoring technology, imaging and more. She works closely with her clients to draft comprehensive, high-quality patent applications and develop prosecution strategies that align with clients’ business goals.

Before joining Cooley, Maggie worked as a patent engineer at another law firm, where her technical background aided her in drafting and prosecuting patents in aerospace, data science, cloud computing, automotive systems, semiconductor packaging, electrical engineering, machine learning and malware detection industries. Before joining her career in patent law, Maggie worked in the aerospace industry as a mechanical engineer at The Boeing Company, where she supported testing and repair of aerospace systems for the US Air Force. She’s also gained hands-on experiences in medical robotics systems, quality engineering and supplier quality engineering.
