Jeremy leads Cooley’s life sciences business development efforts. He brings 15+ years of experience in the sector, with a strong background in capital markets and investor relations. Jeremy builds new relationships for Cooley in the life sciences ecosystem and facilitates introductions for emerging growth companies that catalyze strategic growth.
Before joining Cooley, Jeremy held various roles advising life sciences companies on raising capital and evaluating strategic corporate actions – including cross-border M&A and financing transactions. During his career, Jeremy has marketed cross-border financing opportunities to investors in his role as executive director at a multinational investment bank, in addition to leveraging financial compliance insight as a registered chief compliance officer at a US-licensed broker-dealer.
Outside of the corporate world, Jeremy is a passionate advocate for forest conservation and habitat preservation. In support of this cause, he spent a year as executive director of the Vallarta Botanical Garden. As part of its Conservation in Action campaign, he helped establish the Ocelot Sanctuary (Santuario de los Ocelotes), a new safe haven for wildlife on 85 hectares of densely forested land south of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
