"On July 26, the European Commission announced that it was closing its antitrust investigation of Paramount Pictures, following its acceptance of binding commitments from Paramount not to enforce certain restrictions in its licensing agreements with pay-TV operators. A formal commitments decision involves a party under investigation changing its practices to address the EC’s competition concerns, in return for the investigation against it being closed without any adverse finding or admission of liability."
