SEC Further Delays Consideration of General Solicitation Rules

The SEC has removed from its agenda for tomorrow consideration of whether to propose rules to eliminate the prohibition against general solicitation and general advertising in securities offerings conducted under Rule 506 of Reg D and Rule 144A. Consideration of that proposal has now been pushed back a week to August 29.
