Kronish Lieb Participates in $113.5 million Sale of Bob's Stores

Jay R. Indykea Kronish Lieb Bankruptcy partner, represented the Creditors’ Committee in the Bob’s Stores bankruptcy case and participated in a four-day competitive auction which resulted in a $113.5 million sale to Framingham Massachusetts-based TJX Cos., the owner of T.J. Maxx and Marshalls clothing stores. TJX competed against a joint venture led by Dick's Sporting Goods, a Pittsburgh-based retailer, which also included Hilco Merchant Resources and Gordon Bros. Bob's Stores is a casual clothing and footwear chain operating 34 stores in six states throughout the Northeast with nearly 2,500 employees.
