Palo Alto and Denver – March 20, 2024 – Five Cooley lawyers were honored on The Legal 500’s M&A Powerlist for 2024, including Jamie Leigh, the firm’s global M&A co-chair, and Sonny Allison, who co-chairs the private equity practice group, along with Amelia Davis, Francis Wheeler and Steve Tonsfeldt. Leigh and Tonsfeldt work out of the firm’s San Francisco and Palo Alto offices, respectively, while Allison and Davis joined Wheeler in Cooley’s Denver office in early 2023 as the firm strengthened its capabilities representing private equity sponsors and strategic parties behind high-growth platforms.

The Legal 500, a top legal directory, publishes the M&A Powerlist as part of its Private Practice Powerlist series highlighting the leading lawyers working across the United States.
