Cooley Partner Joins IAPP’s Board of Directors
Travis LeBlanc, Cooley partner and co-chair of the firm’s global cyber/data/privacy practice, was named as a new director on IAPP’s board for 2024. IAPP noted LeBlanc’s previous experience as a member of the US Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, enforcement bureau chief for the Federal Communications Commission, senior adviser to California Attorney General Kamala Harris, and work at the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel, as well as his current service on the board of the Center for Democracy and Technology and advisory boards of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, the Future of Privacy Forum, and the Center for Information Technology Policy.
