Vietnam Sunergy Cell Company Limited Combines With Blue World Acquisition Company
Shanghai – August 11, 2023 – Cooley advised Vietnam Sunergy Cell Company Limited (TOYO Solar), a solar solution company, on its definitive business combination agreement with Blue World Acquisition Corporation, a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company. The Cooley global team was led by corporate partner Ruomu Li, joined by capital markets partners Will Cai and Tim Pitrelli, corporate associates Wenlan Geng and Lanru Qiao, and capital markets associate Hilda Li.
Blue World will merge with and into a wholly owned direct subsidiary of TOYO Co., the indirect parent company of TOYO Solar. TOYO Co. will be the holding company of the combined company and will be listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
