Cooley Recognised in The Legal 500’s Future Lawyers Survey

October 11, 2022

London – October 11, 2022 – Cooley’s London office was recognised by The Legal 500’s Future Lawyers trainee solicitor survey. Cooley was a winning firm across eight categories, based on its trainees’ responses to the survey. The firm placed first overall in three categories – quality of work, workplace inclusiveness and living up to expectations – and was a winner in overall job satisfaction, approachability of supervisors, meaningful client contact, remuneration and vacation schemes.

“We are thrilled to receive such outstanding recognition from our trainees. We strive to ensure that we are a go-to firm for the very best talent, providing exceptional career opportunities in some of the world’s most exciting industries and a culture of real collaboration, diversity and inclusiveness,” said Justin Stock, managing partner of Cooley’s London office.

In September, Cooley’s London office was recognised as US Law Firm of the Year at the 2022 Legal Business Awards and was highly commended in the commercial litigation category.

Creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace is core to Cooley’s culture. In 2020, Cooley’s London office reaffirmed its commitment to the mental health and well-being of its people by signing on to the Mindful Business Charter, a collective of businesses and law firms that share a commitment to combatting avoidable stress in the workplace. In 2021, Cooley London launched the UK Diversity Fellowship programme and an advanced fertility and family-forming benefit. This year, Cooley was recognised for its ability to support health and well-being by Fitwel, the world’s leading certification system committed to building health for all.
